Bridge Fun at Tournesol School
Armand Carriere shares photos of his bridge students taken at the Tournesol school. The pictures are from one of the three end-of-class tournaments held. One tournament was Mini-Bridge. George Retek, District 1 Director, and his wife Marie were in attendance. It was a great closing and everyone seemed happy.
The Optimist club and Unit President, Sylvain Rivest, provided meals for the kids and parents. Trophies were given out and all had fun. The Montreal Bridge League provided $600 worth of gifts and prizes and with an additional donation were able to buy new bridge tables. Volunteer members, teachers and guests were each given an "I Love Bridge" coffee mug. They also were given decks of ACBL playing cards and bridge pens. The kids made bridge drawings to decorate the room and it was a SUPER DAY.
